Your own subscription versus a ready-made account
With a card, you pay for the selected plan in your own account. Check country, plan and renewal amount before buying; trial offers depend on that account’s eligibility.
The merchant payment and the card purchase cost are different
The card purchase total includes the dollar balance, issuance fee, conversion rate and any fees disclosed in the quote. Calculate the required balance from the merchant’s final checkout total, not just the advertised plan price.

- Match the card amount with the final cost
- Enter card and billing information accurately
Spotify account country and region conditions
The country of the Spotify account is determined based on the user's place of registration or residence. To change the country, the account must meet Spotify's official requirements, and the Premium account may need to register a payment method issued in the new country.
Having an American card or changing an option in the profile alone does not guarantee receiving the American offer. The offer and applicable payment methods must be displayed on the Premium and Checkout page of the same account.
Do not use false country, address or identity information to change region.
Temporarily hold to confirm payment method
Spotify may place an Authorization Hold for a nominal amount on the card when the Trial is activated. This amount is not the subscription fee; Spotify will release it, although it may take some time for the credit card issuer to show up.
A minimum $2 balance on AniCards is recommended to cover a possible hold. Spotify has not announced the fixed amount of $2 as the official Hold amount.
Renewal of Spotify Premium
After the trial ends, the Premium Individual subscription will be periodically renewed at the price announced at Checkout. If you want to continue the subscription, keep enough balance on the card before the expiry date.
To avoid paid renewal, you must cancel the subscription before the end of the trial. Spotify states that canceling a Zero Price Trial may immediately terminate Premium access and the Trial may not be reactivated.
Check the trial end date and billing date from the Account page of the same account.
